Sincerely wanting to understand why is honest people resigning, being considered an act of bravery or somehow fruitful. It’s one thing if the admin felt embarrassed by the resignations & rectified course. But that’s not happening, so now our institutions are just left with fewer people of integrity.

There have been growing discussions suggesting that the AI battles on Bluesky are cooling. The fact that large accounts are wading into AI-related topics seems to support this notion.
That's not to say it is gone completely, but the dogpiling isn't as vociferous as it has been in the past.

Seems to me there is a huge distinction between AI applications that are basically working towards full natural lanugage programming, task management etc and AI applications to *make new stuff*. The former seems both more promising as an actual useful tech and also way way less ethically dubious
