Brit abroad, happy in the EU. Saddened to see the demise of accountability and integrity in public life.

Can we now say post Iran bombing that the international rules based order, underpinned by international law has been blown to smithereens?

@restispoliticsus.bsky.social Ima question regarding the continuing lack of soundbites from the democrats. We always hear Trump saying eg the ‘loony left’. Why do we never hear the demos saying something about the ‘entitled right’ or something to this effect. Why can’t the dems change the narrative?

@alastaircampbell2.bsky.social I have just read an extract from JD Vance speech in Greenland "We can't just ignore the President's desires" Assuming this is correct, could you clarify the power of the US Presidency on your Trip programme please. It seems astonishing that they have such power?

I wonder what Karoline Leavitt thinks or feels when she looks in the mirror? I wonder whether after each crazy proclamation she feels a little part of her soul has disappeared…

Will increasing anti-US sentiment begin to affect American commerce and will this serve to brake the absurdity of Trump’s so called plan which is effectively fawning over Russia (what does Putin have on him)?

My question is whether people will now actively seek to buy alternatives to US goods and services? I will now try to avoid American products as much as possible. Siding with Russia is contemptible. I am certain that US global influence will wane considerably over time…

I think the only reason Trump is doing this and acquiescing to Putin is for his obsession with winning the Nobel Peace Prize

When will people start to call Trump out. Journalists, politicians, industry leaders, intellectuals there needs to be a movement for decency, honesty and integrity. GOP, democrats, you are being eroded, act now for your democracy…

There is a better way to handle immigration - a kinder, more compassionate way & 1 that would benefit the UK economy & society.

My question is can European countries rip up supply agreements with US defence contractors on the basis that the goal posts have been moved. Hit US in the pocket EU supply for EU troops. MEUGA

@alastaircampbell2.bsky.social Alistair when are we going to see people in the US stand up against this child like carving up of democratic processes and butchering of crucial institutions and when will the Democrats grow a spine?
