When did Americans get the idea that neighborhoods never change? I think of growth, industrialism, even westward expansion when I think of the ‘old days’ of America. Now we’re complaining at even the prospect of a neighbor building a porch, let alone a second story.

I wonder how much America's overly-litigeous culture affects the cost of starting a business. I assume our insurance rates for most companies are higher than their international peers?

I appreciate that blocking bike lanes is bad, but what is this worker supposed to do when there are no parking spots or drop off zones on the street they need to deliver to?
Genuinely wondering, is there a street design improvement that allows for both uses?

Does anyone have a generative tool/workflow for interfaces? Ideally I'd like to generate designs with tailwind styles which I can adjust in figma. Not sure if there is a plug in. Maybe I'll give shadcn/v0 another try.

boycott tesla if you want to feel better about yourself, but how much of his wealth is in Tesla these days? Even if Tesla went to zero SpaceX is still worth billions. We can't exactly boycott that... particularly when he seems to control who wins those govt contracts 🙄
