Interregnum is a 2025 graphite illustration by EthanFoxium. It features a very large, central, forefront bird-like spirit with arms cradling a human baby while a spindly, strange warrior stands to their rear. The spirit has a long beak and large, empty eye sockets. It's covered in downy white feathers outside the face, though on its back and below the face, they're longer and more pointed. It wears a gray tiara with black gems. Behind it is the warrior, mostly clad in dark grays. Its helmet had a long beak-like protrusion similar to the spirit's, and bears a crown-like feature at the scalp. The arms are thin and covered in black fabric, with extra at the fingertips to lengthen them. In its left hand it handles an iklwa-style spear though with a very long handle.

One of the most crucial lessons I had in grade school was the modes of persuasion. My English teacher used advertisements from YouTube to teach us how they use Pathos, Ethos, and Logos to manipulate you.

Using ads we were actually consuming made me much more critical of ads as an adult. (1/3)

Part human, part vampire and part reptile, the beast strides from right to left between heavy and richly patterned curtains. I don't think pointing out the fascists' 'hypocrisy' is a good use of time. It's not hypocrisy, it's hierarchy. They actually do believe that they have the right and obligation to dominate you because they are superior to you. They are using their power not being hypocritical.
