The best thing about those true crime shows on Investigation Discovery is when the cops try to sound smart/official: "Officer Pahks and I pursued the individual's motor vehicle until at which point it was apparent said vehicle was observed to flip ovah; at that point we elected to cease pursuit."

Periodically I check in on Trump's Truth Social account. The rumors were true: Yesterday, Christmas Day, he spent *hours* posting/reposting self-promoting nonsense. I lost track at like 30 posts. This one was the weirdest flex, definitely the most, um, ironic.

Just an awareness, if you have really long multi-line profiles, your actual posts can't be seen because people can't scroll down past those super-long locked profiles to see recent posts on an Android phone. Or is there a setting I'm missing? 🤔 If I haven't engaged with you in eons, that's why.

Ebenezer Scrooge is no more realistic a character than Frosty The Snowman. Billionaires (which Forbes estimates Scrooge was, adjusted for inflation) love the holiday spirit like everyone else, they’re simply too sociopathic to understand what it actually means.
