I don’t like how people say “top-level corporate stupidity” when discussing SNK’s decision making, because it’s not true. Their hands are being forced by something, someone. And we all know what that is. It’s just most people aren’t brave enough to come out and say it aloud.
Modern SNK is the perfect illustration of top-level corporate stupidity ruining all it touches. The people steering the ship are completely divorced from what longtime fans, the market, and (likely) their own employees want
