Anyway, this is the method that I used: An emission shader plugged to a mix shader, then a grayscale texture controls where the effect occurs (cuz his eye texture is shared by his teeth and tongue). The emission's color is plugged with the base color texture.

The Mix's factor is controlled by a color ramp, which is connected with a grayscale texture that differentiates between different parts of the character. In this case, the effect is isolated to the eyes. Okay, time to do a quick tutorial on the Generic Spring constraint. I don't know why it is like this, but I feel that Blender has changed the way it handles springs at some point, which has led to some serious confusion from me with setting up springs correctly.
