the reason people sometimes act madder at democrats than republicans when republicans do impossibly evil shit is the same reason why, if you hired an exterminator to handle a roach infestation and he showed up to feed and play with them instead, your first instinct wouldn’t be to yell at the roaches

Finally sorted a halfway passable explosion. This one is basically copied from Pierrick Picaut's tutorial, but with some of my own changes. It's all flat plane particles, so you need to angle the main object (an empty everything is parented to) towards the camera to get it to look right.

One thing I think folks on the US left do have to contend with IS that Maduro was not a democratic leader. I am not going to begrudge people for cheering for the guy being taken out. You can be glad that the guy is gone, but also recognize that it was done in violation of a country's sovereignty.

For reference, Venezuela has been occupied by Russia and China for a few years now, under the pretense of "cooperation", but it's because Venezuela paid some of its national debt by giving away oil refineries and land to both of them. Now it's going to be interesting to see if the US takes them.
