He stood in front of the world at the UN today, and every other word out of his mouth was a lie. I’ll say it again, we’ve not been here before. An American President who lies as he breathes. It’s a terrible place to be. Shame on the media & everyone who’s normalized his lying and/or doesn’t care.

Today, Lee Anderson MP wrote a post on X that breaks sub judice rules and is in contempt of court, about a live criminal case. He was warned to be careful about what he said publicly by Notts Police. He ignored that advice. I have written to the AG and Lord Chancellor informing them of his contempt.

Labour are right to lower the voting age.

But if they're truly serious about creating a fair democracy:

Time to abolish the unelected House of Lords.

And time for Proportional Representation for all elections.

Making the wealthy pay is essential to tax justice
It appears that the tax gap will leave the news this week. The Public Accounts Committee has published a new report in the issue in which they say: HMRC has no overview of an individual’s total wealt...

Govts/Regulators serve corporations, not people.

UK vets could face price caps on medicines, prescriptions and other services.

Long overdue. The entry of private equity (PE) and big corporations resulted in profiteering.

Need to break the business model of PE. End tax relief on interest payments. Regulate PE.

Very well put, @libdemdaisy.bsky.social 💯

There is a reason why trust in politics has broken down.

We have a system that severely limits voter choice, while forcing politicians to argue instead of figuring out what they have in common.

Proportional Representation is the solution.
