“As an editorial cartoonist, my job is to hold powerful people and institutions accountable. For the first time, my editor prevented me from doing that job. So I have decided to leave the Washington Post”

Stop using these apps entirely, people. Get a notebook and a pen and go analog. I'm serious
The ovulation tracking app, "Ovia", now mandates you identify what state you live in. Delete immediately and warn anyone who might need to know.

Guns are the leading cause of death of children and teens in the United States.

I wish the establishment cared as much about their lives as they do CEOs.

That's why I love the Christmas carol version where the people of London literally get together in front of the dude's office and do a musical number about how happy they all are that Scrooge is fucking dead

IT'S NORMAL HUMAN BEHAVIOR TO DESPISE PEOPLE WHO PROFIT FROM SUFFERING
Nothing about A Christmas Carol suggests it was wrong for the people of London to laugh and celebrate when Scrooge died in the vision he was given by the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come.

Dickens got it right; America’s legacy media scolds are getting it wrong

Isn’t it funny how the U.S. media is suddenly posting stories about the improving inflation picture now that the election is over? 🧐

Elon admits that any post on X with a link is throttled

He advises you to upload content directly to X instead, where he can monetize it

All I want for Christmas is for Twitter to keep bleeding away millions of users every day to Bluesky until Twitter is nothing more than a bigger, emptier, Truth Social shithole.

Manifest THAT. 🙏🎁

I wrote about the expensive and endless Wicked (and Barbie) marketing and how it's often prioritized a white, upper-class consumer — and how this rising Hollywood standard impacts small and independent films that often center talent of color. www.huffpost.com/entry/wicked...
‘Wicked’ Marketing Has Been Giving People The Ick
Like with “Barbie,” Hollywood has spent heaps of money for endless promotions that serve its bottom line — and prioritize a certain consumer and film.

This is a proposed law targeting exactly one person: Incoming trans Congresswoman Sarah McBride of Delaware. Nancy Mace is a transphobic, hateful troll who voted with teen rapist Matt Gaetz to depose her own party’s speaker, but the bathrooms. That’s where she’s focused.
