My least favorite thing about zoos is seeing local, native wild animals just being free on the sidewalk.

Get out of here, dudes, you’re not canon to this exhibit.

Just in case you’re feeling a bit down about life;

I’m not advocating for being single, but I’m pretty sure if I were coupled up I wouldn’t be having fun watching a baby oak tree forest develop in my back yard right now.

This afternoon I took a walk around Alder Pond in Goodyear Park. Heard laughter echoes from other park hikers. Saw lots of turtles, a muskrat, and fish jumping.

My back yard is normally filled with wildlife all day. Squirrels, groundhogs, chipmunks, birds. Not today. Wildlife is laying low during this heat wave.

Literally every time I call Akron 311 to report an issue they respond immediately with services from the appropriate department to remedy the issue. Sometimes they will even call me back with follow-ups.

Also, literally every Akron rep has been super friendly and helpful.
