The best time to get rid of him was when he did the Nazi salute.
The second best time was when he butchered federal agencies that led to the death of hundreds of thousands.
The third best time was yesterday.

Donald Trump publicly calls for the execution of Democratic congressmen, and Republicans don’t bat an eye. But as soon as you make a joke about Charlie Kirk’s views, all hell breaks loose.

So Harvard is keeping this guy, but Claudine Gay had to step down over ginned up plagiarism accusations and bad-faith accusations of anti-Semitism.

Got it.
Larry Summers tells @theharvardcrimson.bsky.social
he’s stepping back from all public commitments in light of his messages with Epstein, saying he is “deeply ashamed” and hopes “to rebuild trust and repair relationships.”

He will continue teaching.

I wish men truly understood how often their peers only pretend to cultivate women's talents because they want to fuck us. I am a short Canadian nobody and it happened to me when I was starting out my screenwriting career no less than four times before I turned 26

Women's problem is not meeting the same standards as men. We do that every day, and often exceed expectations.

But if you're expected to fuck Larry Summers to get ahead, it's no surprise that women might fall behind men, who are not expected to do this.

🚨 Wolves still need your voice! Congress is considering bills that could strip protections from gray wolves in 44 states. Losing these safeguards would leave wolves vulnerable to hunting and persecution.

Those of us who are SA survivors are used to the mass shrug in response to even the most overt evidence of horrific behavior. Epstein's crimes and the complicity of many influential figures involved have been known for decades (’05 to be exact). It's never mustered much interest or consequence.

On Veterans Day, we honor those who put service before self.

To every veteran and their families: Thank you for your courage and sacrifice. Our nation is stronger and safer because of you.

Huge Bond fan - they have made 25 movies across 60 years and six actors that have played Bond. EON was always looking to make a current movie and really until Skyfall/SPECTRE/NTTD no one gave a second thought to continuity.

If they need a writer - have them call me.
This rocks lol
James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

I will also add:

I can do this for evictions in Illinois too, if SNAP benefits being cut off or the government shutdown means you can't make rent.
If you're arrested in Illinois for the means by which you acquire food for your family because of the government shutdown or loss of SNAP benefits, I can represent you pro bono. Email me at sheryl@weikallaw.com. As always, I will take as many cases as I can.

This perfectly encapsulates how I feel living in the US. The republican party is an insane death cult, the democratic party is 3 corporations in a trench coat, and the "socialists" are just the completely normal left-wing capitalists you'd find in any of 2 dozen European nations.
Europeans recognize Zohran Mamdani’s supposedly radical policies as ‘normal’

Only 18% of Africans are in formal employment. The wealthiest evade most taxes, particularly on property ownership and capital gains, because states underinvest in property and company registries. Our states want taxes but don’t care to create formal jobs or invest in robust infrastructure.

There needs to be trials and there needs to be people sent to die in a prison cell. Consequences must fall on the people who issued the orders and those who carried them out. We must make the punishment of these people a national spectacle that will be remembered for generations.

This is literally what Kamala Harris ran on last year. She provided substantive policies related to all of these issues. Folks need to admit that they had trouble hearing this message when the messenger was a Black woman.
Elizabeth Warren, who endorsed Mamdani fairly early, says he has a lesson for Democrats: “that Americans care about what living costs them every day. Zohran put together an entire campaign around bringing down the cost of child care, groceries and transportation, and he's going to win on that.”
