I’ve been listening to the audiobook version of Howard Zinn’s “A People’s History of the United States” and one of the major takeaways I really didn’t expect or think about is how incredibly fucked up the US entering WWI was, and how much it was used as a cudgel against radical movements

idk if anyone can answer this, but like, why, specifically, is knowing about jury nullification grounds for someone to be removed from a jury? like, if the jury finds the defendant not guilty because a law is unjust or otherwise, is that not a “valid” outcome? what is the incentive here?
