YES SAME HERE. There might have been the small exception (I met one of my longest LJ friends on vampirefreaks ca. like 2003, lmao). Agree - I think longform journaling by design is just more conducive to stronger bonds with others. You and all my other LJ friends got me through so much crap adgjlhsj
BUT YES i enjoy insta and twitter type things for what they are very much but nothing beats longform journalling... i think i met ALL my long-time internet friends on lj even if they did eventually move off platform

yes im only on DW these days, i held out for a long time ahah but soooo many of my flist left LJ and ACTUALLY DELETED THEIR JOURNALS so i had to go ðŦĨ it is pretty similar to lj although some of the admins are a bit weird fkfjfj BUT YES lots of fun when i remember to make posts......
