My mom would have been 70 today— Five years gone in July. Ah, damn. I should be taking care of her instead of her mom, but that’s how life goes.
It’s alright, I’m fine, and frankly it’s kind of reassuring when it DOES still sting, but I just wanted to say this somewhere, since 70 is a big one.

My piping hot take on PLURIBUS is that it’s one of the most Ghibli-esque shows on TV today, and people who think its pacing is too slow ought to really sit with and examine why they feel that slow pace = bad.
Its first season has several minutes worth of “mā”, and is much stronger for it, IMO

So, I've been trying to keep it together, but on New Year's my mom was diagnosed with cancer. Her treatment starts this week. She tells me she has insurance but since the year rolled over she has to pay a max out of pocket. Anything would help, please share if you can.

If anyone else wants an Adobe Animate alternative, I can’t recommend Moho enough. It’s affordable, it’s efficient, it’s been used in feature films from Cartoon Saloon like Wolfwalkers, and the best part…NO Ai whatsoever.

Im very very sorry. I just found out that my insurance wont be fully covering my repeat colonoscopy tomorrow and my copay is much more than expected [$125]. I already have to deal with prep. 🫠 yet again, if interested in a book...I have one? You can also read my webcomic so far for a donation of $3
