Begging and screaming for people to recognize that the conservatives' deepest and truest desire is they want to say the quiet part out loud. They want to say it SOOOOOO badly and are working overtime to normalize it.

I don’t want ICE in my community.

I don’t want strange masked men taking my neighbors.

I don’t want strange masked men lighting fires in my city.

I want the world to see what’s happening in my community.

I want Minneapolis to be left alone and not made into a war zone.

Seeing more people going all "Oh yeah we could definitely take the fed in combat" and I want to emphasize to everyone that no, no you could not. "But afghanistan" this isn't afghanistan, this is a westernized world where people can't turn off Harry Potter, it's not happening.

The troubling thing we're going to run into is, even if there is damning, incontrovertible proof that DJT raped children, a surprising number of people are going to not just defend it, but be genuinely okay with it. Because they see women and children as things to dominate and use, not as people.

Actually, there is one thing Superstore gets right about retail life. My pharmacists were great, but what a weird position they're in. Glorified retail, but paid like doctors. Insane racket, should honestly become a pharmacist.

The more I watch, the more I'm convinced Superstore's universe is designed to give Jonah an easy out at every turn. Multi-episode misunderstanding plot finalized by the person he accidentally hurt going "Lol I don't care actually. I quit my job to be with you, but nbd, it's cool."

I'm starting to think Superstore was designed to annoy me specifically. Literally they only thing they've gotten right about retail life is one time they used the term 'go backs.'

I will never be able to fathom people blaming non-voters for Trump, rather than blaming, yknow, Trump voters.

I'm kinda worried that all zelda games are gonna be like that now.

Trump being against guns isn't anything new actually. He just typically shuts up about it, but he has been open and accepting of gun control measures in the past.

I suspect he thinks people with guns are stupid, but also recognizes that they're his voting base.

Sorrow is fungal. It grows constantly inside, until it must be cut out and shared with others. The portion given sprouts readily, and what remains within quickly resumes growth. Do this again and again if you please, it regrows forever, until miserable growths erupt from within.

I'm good enough at super smash bros that I can beat most of my friends unless they gang up on me, but not nearly good enough to actually be competitive. This is a surprisingly common theme in my life. Is that arrogant? Self-deprecating? Both? I'unno, I hate it though.

“Are the arts important?” Humanity practiced them long before they had use for science and will practice them long after math is gone. Is the dawn important? Is dusk?

Superstore has this weird tendency to frame an episode around Jonah just being a really awful person, and then contorting reality so that he's somehow correct, or somehow, in the long run, it's for the best. It's like if Jim from the office wasn't charismatic or competent, but still gets with Pam.

All the anti-war and anti-occupation protestors were right. All the far leftists were right. All the “woke scolds” and your friend who’s “too woke” were right. They were somehow even more right than they may have realized at the time. But really, it was always obvious they were right.

If there's one lesson I've learned over the years it's that even if you don't like communism, it still must be embraced because capitalism is simply too evil to be tolerated. Fascistic capitalist forces are coming for you, and communists are the only ones who are going to try to stop it.
