What Trump is doing to immigrant communities is disgusting & inhumane. But Obama deported way more people.

Texas is the national epicenter of Bitcoin mining, writes @candicebernd.bsky.social with the @texasobserver.org. There are an estimated 40 crypto mines in Texas, which together consume enough electricity to power 800,000 homes. www.thenation.com/article/soci...

Tesla's stock is already down over 16% since Trump's inauguration, so this protest can pile on the pressure as opposed to having to create it from scratch.

Celebrities like Kendrick & Beyonce are almost untouchable. Arguably some of the only powerful enough artists that don't have to answer to labels. They would survive any real backlash from white America. Why not really do something with their platforms and condemn Trump or say #FreePalestine
I want this type of reaction to something Kendrick or Beyonce do before it's called revolutionary. Obviously Janet wasn't offering any political critique (although responded with one) but things are SO much worse right now. Not a peep about actual fascism or genocide.
Janet Jackson's performance got WAY more push back from white America than Kendrick or Beyonce will ever get. Jackson was uninvited to the grammys and had her new music blacklisted. She issued a statement about how her breast reveal was being used to distract from real issues like the Iraq war!

Kendrick's performance was amazing but it was NOT radical or revolutionary. Celebrities are never giving that and we should not be looking for that from them. Bc America is so racist and white supremacist, Black representation appears revolutionary. I preferred Beyonce cosplaying Black panthers.

Kendrick is signed to a Zionist. Not his fault- equivalent to having a shitty boss. But releasing a statement in support of the protestor and Palestine could get him dropped. Which right now...he has the leverage to risk it. He should do something actually revolutionary and say #FreePalestine.
