Your words may be kind but your actions betray you, Labour.

Streeting's war on trans youth, Starmer's cruelty to trans adults, and your u-turning on your manifesto promise to "remove indignities for trans people who deserve recognition and acceptance" is shameful.

We don't think the interim guidance published by the EHRC and pushed by Bridget Phillipson is lawful.

So today we've started legal proceedings against them.

I’m not an X-er but a millennial but this is hilarious
It’s a real unearned W for all Gen-Xers that the teens use both “boomer” and “millennial” as shorthand for old people but have completely forgotten about us, the worst generation of them all.

Really interesting comments at the launch of @newwales.bsky.social on the future of Wales within a UK which isn’t very interested in us, and within the changing climate of divisive and polarising political discussion which categorises a lot of interactions at the moment.

Refreshing to see one of the top people in sport addressing this subject with some nuance and fairness for a change, rather than empty, pointless rhetoric.

That being said, I am not surprised that it is someone from Para sports who gets it.

Particularly enjoying the Telegraph having to report this when they are so GC! Managed to still get a jibe in saying the diversity manager became “upset” though… she didn’t. She raised a perfectly legitimate point.
She stood up when a grant was given to the LGB Alliance, GC colleagues complained about her, she was dismissed, then she won her case for unfair dismissal.

I am so bored of reading how women are being categorised. Let’s have categories in sport based on testosterone levels and let all people who are similar compete against each other rather than sticking to this ridiculous binary where you think white, petite women are the only type of women 🤬
World Athletics moved toward adopting rules that would ban athletes assigned female at birth but who have higher testosterone levels

I’m so pleased to see the history GCSE question answered for me in real time.

How could people have accepted the slide to fascism in 1930s Germany? Could it happen here?

Easily, we just have to accept the othering of groups less powerful than ourselves.

Yes. Very clearly, it can happen anywhere.

Guy who says it is not inclusive because “it excludes people who do not accept the false claims of transgender ideology”.

Wut.

Transgender ideology.

That you want to live freely as the person who you are. Yeah. That ‘ideology’ sucks man.

Aside from the desperation here, the irony is in 2014 this was being called for from UKIP and the Tories wouldn’t even consider it. Strange how a decade can change things…

Someone on Facebook asked advice for a coverup tattoo for a Gaiman quote (and fair enough!) and a tattoo artist got chatting and said they do so many HP coverups these days too. That made me very happy. Then they said: "I donate the money from hp coverups to trans advocacy groups" and I got happier.
