The local neighbourhood dinosaur looking glorious today on sunny autumn afternoon.

Everyone should have an enormous ornamental triceratops nearby, they bring so much joy.

Okay 2026, what a ridiculously futuristic year you are. 🤖

Over a quarter of the way through the 21st Century already. It's wild!

Let's see what you've got 😊

"woo year, woo me" — cheerleaders wanting to get hitched, probably
"gnu year, gnu me" —antelopes, probably
"Pneu year, pneu me." - lungs, probably

I used my phone's voice assistant to screenshot and initially thought I'd got "potato".

"Prosperous" is more than welcome 😄

There's so many fireworks going off down the road the sky sounds like wheels over bubble wrap.

Watching and rewatching lots of films this extended weekend

All of Us Strangers is a piece of masterful filmmaking.

The surreal story, the pacing, the dialogue, the performances, the cinematography, devastatingly perfect.

I've got to be honest, we may as well call it a night #DuvetKnowItsChristmas
I’m entering The Teenager as potential winner of #Duvetknowitschristmas

He’s had to move from his bedroom to the unconverted attic

Cardboard floor & headboard is a nice touch which I’m sure he appreciates

He think it looks like he’s living in a meth den

This is the 15th year of #DuvetKnowItsChristmas, which is preposterous. Rules: if you find yourself dealing with unusual / claustrophobic / gaudy sleeping arrangements this Christmas Eve, share a picture with the world. Use the hashtag (with capitalisation) and cc me if you can be bothered.

Tomorrow evening it’ll be my annual duty to vaguely shepherd the activity on the #duvetknowitschristmas hashtag and urge people to give small sums to charity. 7.30pm? Something like that?

Yeah, there's a reason a very basic font is what's normally used for accessibility subtitling
I watched AVATAR: FIRE AND ASH in Portugal today and I just want everyone to know that the entire movie was subtitled in English in Papyrus.

The entire movie.
