not on here much now. find me elsewhere!
I decided I'm giving up on trying with this website, at least for a little while. It feels like it's enabling a lot of bad habits in people. I'm not deleting, just uninstalled it from my phone. You can find me on the other platform if you wish. Not the super evil one, just the normal evil one. Bye!!
Am I allowed to say normal things on this platform or do I have to stand on my little corner and yell about the apocalypse?

Had to get a haircut in Kingston and it's maybe weirdly the saddest I've been so far realizing I no longer have OBB in my life. Or anything like it. Not to mention the angel Robyn. Wah. My hair looks good at least.

I enjoyed celebrity traitors as anyone would, but I think I still like regular UK traitors much more. There's something about the performance the celebrities were doing that just made it seem less intense and therefore less fun. And so many tasks seemed designed to feed their egos lol. Boring.

Been rewatching Golden Girls. Grew up with the dub, it's crazy how different the sub is.

I'm not American, but this is why I work for a university. I could be making 25% more minimum in the private sector. But I will get a full pension at 60 in my job, and given my family history, I could be retired for decades!!
Every single "RETVRN" account should only be about this

Living in Kingston now it's the coldest place I've ever lived but it also means it's like a winter wonderland, snow stays on the ground, it's beautiful. I would take a winter average of -15°C over grey slush and freezing rain any day.

Celebrity Traitors is really fun but honestly after watching UK Traitors S1 all I can think is how unserious the celebrities are. And also how rich they all are lol. I really miss the regular people who are shockingly good at the game.

I don't feel like doing a 2025 roundup because quite frankly my attention was shot all year from grief, to keep things cheery, but it's nice to see your book lists. Instead, I'll just share one book I read and loved last year. A beautiful book. @nyrb-imprints.bsky.social
