Meet the Fairey Firefly (was unknown to me). A carrier-borne fighter and anti-submarine aircraft. Introduced in 1943 and produced until 1955. 1,702 were made. #WW2 #HISTORY

My husband of 5 years bought me £30 Lego for my birthday this year. I wouldn't mind so much, but he also bought himself £150 Lego the same day. Unfortunately he's not been able to finish his AT - ST walker as some of the pieces appear to have mysteriously gone missing. Shame.

Slept in and missed the window for a run before the heat built up. Will do it late this arvo after the cool change - posting for accountability. #SundayRunday

GLENBROOK, 67km from Central, is a charming station serving a small collection of shops and cafes, and low density housing. It has two platforms, a new lift and a footbridge that only provides an exit to the north.

The platforms have lots of greenery, with well manicured gardens. (1/3)

Had a moment today a bit like Kathy Bates in Fried Green Tomatoes. Pretty unhappy with myself for losing my cool (no i don’t hit anyone’s car) but I am sooo over being the middle aged woman people push around and then wonder why I get pissed off. makeagif.com/i/nCWnKi

Just stop calling her the mushroom murderer. It trivialises the victims’ trauma, downgrades the offence and erases Erin Patterson’s identity.

On a trip to NYC with mates, I changed all the screensavers on PCs and laptops in a computer shop to scrolling marquee 'fuck you, you fucking fuck' and set them to come on in an hour password protected. I never come across an unprotected computer in a shop after that.

A hundred thousand people were killed by the atomic bomb. Survivors wonder why they lived when so many others died.
