I'm trying to implement a skill tree that unlocks bike and dairy farm upgrades. It's not easy but I'm getting there and I think it will make the progression clearer and more satisfying 🚲🛠️

Made a TransitionManager to trigger fades/cuts etc. so I don’t have to write bespoke coroutines anymore.

Look I know I’m lazy at this, which explains how Hellkind manage to work out entirely by extreme™ coding skills and luck 🥰

🧠 A question for the hive mind:

On first launch, I want the game to autoset the best resolution etc. for the player.

So in a bootstrap level, I set resolution and graphics by stress-loading and lowering resolution until av. FPS hits 60, then save.

Is this too heavy-handed? Any better approaches?

Looks like my next game is either a first person survival horror set in shadowy brutalist halls while your kidnapper keeps messaging you… or a text driven management sim where home intruders start sliding into your DMs.

Either way there will be chatting. And minesweeper.
