The government’s proposal in the health and disability green paper that people should have to be awarded 4 points for one of the daily living activities in order to receive PIP is absolutely mad. Thousands of disabled people will be thrown off PIP and pushed even further into poverty.

a reminder that disabled people who chose to live with their partners, as all people should have the right to do, no longer qualify for any out of work benefits. their only crumb of financial independence is PIP. women trapped in abusive relationships under these circumstances have little to no hope

Tried to have a new carer start this week, but both shifts she came smelling really strongly of perfume and my MCAS just couldn’t cope with it. Back to the drawing board I guess

Hospital appointment today means travelling by stretcher. Normally at least 2 hours of waiting either side of the appointment to be picked up as well.
