If I were a moral and Christ-following Republican in the legislature I may want to push back on the Governor. Jesus would feed needy children. 🤷♀️

Crews worked way faster than expected, and they anticipate they will have the road back open before 1pm! Thank you to our Metro workers for always coming through for us!
Morning! In Inglewood (part of D7) Gallatin at Greenland (near the fire station) is closed for the next ~8 hours. Huge tanker spill. All crews are on site (Fire, OEM, MNPD, TDEC) and the spill is contained. None of it went into the water supply.

I very much enjoyed a visit with Northern Ireland’s MP Pat Cullen yesterday at the courthouse. She is a leader for her district, and also for nurses, having led 270,000 nurses to strike for better working conditions and pay. 💪👩⚕️👨⚕️Onward with our strategic relationship with this important ally! 🇮🇪🇺🇸
