I stopped by earlier in the week, and East Precinct came by too. Also saw NDOT traffic enforcement eastbound on McGavock while driving yesterday. Enforcement is happening although they continue to disobey the law. Keep reporting.

Don’t forget the play of good ole white boy Shelbyville vs successful badass Black woman. I haven’t researched it, but I’ll guess that the Shelbyville bank branch has some descendants of some secret society guys in addition to the WLM protest in 2017. So there’s that too.

Oh also - the state regulates cemeteries so those buried will remain undisturbed. Building sidewalks in either cemetery here would create concern for families.

We need to take this state hwy down to 3 lanes, using the remaining width for ped infrastructure, and maybe bike too, but my priority is ped 1st. @campbell4tn.bsky.social & @aftynbehn.bsky.social are working with me, but it’s a uphill battle. Maybe make the third lane reversible for peak hours 🤷♀️

I saw this today! Our NDOT liaison saw it yesterday (he was on his bike!). They are working on a fix asap. Thank you again for calling it out.
