Late-identified autistic adults aren’t “finding themselves.”

They’re re-interpreting their entire life through a new lens while still having to navigate this world.

This workshop is about making sense of that re-mapping without collapsing under it.

Had my hair cut for the first time in over a year 🫣

Getting my hair cut always falls down my priorities, it can be hard to remember or have the energy with chronic illnesses and just life itself. I also just forget how long it's been as well as how good it feels after 😅

Tell me your dog's clingy without telling me.....

Made me laugh as he's rested his head on my hand as I'm typing this 😂😂

It's been 2 years since I released my CPD on working with non-monogamous clients 🥳

Non-monogamy is just as valid as monogamy 💚

Here are a couple of slides around different types of non-monogamous relationships and then a slightly deeper dive into terms related to polyamory specifically 🫶

It's 2026, can doctors and medical professionals stop using "You're too young" as an excuse to not do tests!

No one is too young. Might it be rare in some cases, yes. Doesn't mean it doesn't happen though!!!

Migraine hangovers suck! So freaking tired.

It's unfair that chronic illnesses have consequences from just living life but this is why pacing (where possible) & compassionate self talk are important in order to manage what we can.

Gonna have a nap now. Hope your day is kind to you! 💚

What do you think?

The "outcome" of therapy is reliant on many things, but from what I've read and from experience these three things have a big impact:
- Client engagement
- Therapeutic Relationship
- Therapy Approach

Happy New Year's Eve all ✨️

Queue Psychostick - Happy Fucking New Year 🤘

I don't really do resolutions anymore, instead I quite like what I've seen others do of carrying over a word with me for next year.

So 2026 for me is going to be ꪱׁׅꪀׁׅtׁׅꫀׁׅܻꪀׁׅtׁׅꪱׁׅᨵׁׅꪀׁׅ.

It's been a hard year but I'm grateful for so much in my life.

I know this next year is going to have some pretty big difficulties but hoping there's many lighter moments for us all ✨️

For now I'm taking the week in my happy place w/my partner & woofs!

Society doesn’t collapse because autistic people struggle to cope.

Autistic people collapse because society refuses to change.

People would have you believe it’s the opposite.

The aim of therapy is to empower someone to help themselves. This is done in lots of ways, but we are essentially working ourselves out of a job 😅
