I tried carob chips once. They tasted like burned fries.
I tried carob in the 70s and didn't like it. Someone on YouTube recently convinced me to give it another go because it's high fiber, luring me in by describing it as having a "rich, nutty, caramel flavor." I tried. It tastes like licorice powder mixed with weak, subpar cocoa powder. Yuck.

Loved this book so much. I remember bringing it to overnight camp. I had a camp counselor that year from South Africa who was a Simpsons fan. At that time South Africa had only gotten to season 3, so he was super excited to look through it.
On October 3, 1997, “The Simpsons: A Complete Guide to Our Favorite Family,” an episode guide covering the first eight seasons of the show, was first published by @harpercollins.bsky.social.
