It’s sometimes hard to write post apocalyptic fiction when the world around you keeps doing thing far grander, stupider & unbelievable than you could ever imagine.

Allosaurus is the best dinosaur because it looks like you could slap a saddle on it and ride it around in an old west-style post apocalyptic world in which cloned dinosaurs are domesticated and some wild but cloning also bought bacteria back that wiped out 80% of the world's population.
