Just published in @newphyt.bsky.social : my first paper in co-authorship with @virajalim.bsky.social and @routierlab.bsky.social.
This meta-analysis of Arabidopsis growth rates was quite a lot of work, but it's finally out:

Found this hibiscus in Brazil a few weeks ago. Anyone one know if it's a particular variety or just a random mutant?

Construire des bâtiments de trois étages à Montréal: une opportunité manquée pour une densification progressive/graduelle?

Je ne demande pas nécessairement des gratte-ciels. Mais pourquoi pas cinq, six, ou même huit étages comme à Paris?

Montreal’s snow removal process is amazing but I detest that awful siren. The first time I heard it, I was jolted awake and very confused.
I just heard the faint sounds of snow-removal sirens in my Saint-Henri neighborhood warning car owners to move or get towed. The soundtrack of another Montreal winter… ❄️🎧🚨💙

What a beautiful visualization of the complexity of transliterating Chinese names. Maybe journals should add the tonal markers and chinese characters together.

'Crick “did not appear to understand the correct use of the word,”' yeah no kidding, for a field that invents words for every single detail, to not have used a better one for something so important is quite annoying.

Spending a month on Bluesky has created a whole new model of a fight we need to be having right now. Not liberal vs. conservative or whatever, but respect vs manipulation.

I am tired of being manipulated everywhere I go. That’s why I like it here, I feel like I’m in charge for once.
