Things are dicey. Republicans don't plan to reconvene until January & since EBT isn't being funded, landlords are already wondering if Section 8 will be next, so I'm worried things will get worse.

Today has been one of the hardest days of my life. Earlier today, my 20+yo cat had an event that left him unable to walk. We're currently doing palliative care for him until we're ready to say goodbye. We're hoping one of the local vets will cover costs for euthanasia, but right now, we're a mess.
