I run.
As humans we’re not really designed to be on screens all day. We crave being in nature and having breaks from the noise in our heads. #trailrunning

Magnolia Ranch run this morning. The area is dry and I was surprised to see a burn scare with red retardant outlining it. I was supposed to run a half marathon yesterday, but it was canceled. I feel unmoored. #trailrunning

1500 feet uphill today. Started with a group and they quickly disappeared. So of course I got lost. Climbed K2, and ran down the hill to Quarry Trail. At one point, I had to slide down a cliff to get around a downed tree. #trailrunning #auburnca

Blood, Sweat and Beers short trail race at 6 miles. This trail has a very steep up and down into Auburn, CA, canyon. I managed to get onto the podium even though there were many tough 70+ agers in the field. #running #trailrunning

Ran early on what is going to be a hot day. Went up to Trailcon in the Olympic Valley on Wednesday. Never seen so many elite runners in one place. Five men over age 70 are running Western States today as is one 80-year-old. My run was easier today, now I need to push myself a bit. #westernstates

Like he said, if they're doing this to a sitting Senator, imagine what they're doing to other people.

Unconscionable.
