I used to think I don’t like the long dark days but lately I’m beginning to realize the problem is not honoring the season to rest, slow down, be still, & reflect. Our society demands constant productivity. But that’s not how nature works. Always fighting nature
It is quiet lately. Hoodie weather, watching nature, hanging with kids, enjoying the transition to time change soon, weather getting colder. Disclaimer: I hate it being dark earlier and driving in snow. All said, treasure each day in the colorful landscape we have now. We'll watch the lake for you.
