The impact of Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica is visible in IODA. Active Probing shows steady decline by ~20%. This decline in Internet connectivity appears driven by ISP FLOW Jamaica.

An Internet disruption is ongoing in Cameroon as the country awaits election results. The disruption began at 3:55 AM UTC. Several ISPs are affected. Cause of the disruption is currently unconfirmed but the WACS is reported to have had "an incident."

PEACE submarine cable suffered an outage yesterday (Oct-20) at 12:30 UTC when "PFE voltage suddenly dropped in Zafarana, Egypt."

When the PEACE cable was lost, Pakistani incumbent @PTCLOfficial lost transit from Lumen (AS3356).
