Wanna take a quick sec to shout out one of my new favorite history pods. Tides of History is an all timer, Past Lives is new and shaping up to be very good. In a world of so many shitty podcasts, I thought it would probably be good to post at least once about good ones when they pop up.
New Past Lives: Saint Patrick, Slavery, and the Fall of the Roman Empire. Patrick eventually became the apostle of the Irish and a legend, but long before that, he was a teenager named Patricius who was enslaved amid the chaos surrounding the fall of the Roman Empire. www.pod.link/1852618120/e...

This is an important and poorly understood area. It's especially hard to conceive of realistic threat models in this context. My anecdotal experience is that alarmists, extremists, opsec hawks can be the loudest voices to the detriment of other equities like communication and visibility
