Dear Congress, as part of these reforms: Make it illegal for ICE to carry firearms while on duty. There is no reason for these assholes to be walking around with long guns or even pistols. They can practice their second amendment rights on their own time

I'm pretty sure there is a stipulation in US Code that any officer who is not in control of their emotions and psychological processes to the point they might use a weapon in an unlawful manner are prohibited from going on duty armed with a weapon.
Nation of laws? Sure doesn't look like it.

there's a reason valid law enforcement agencies do an investigation each time an officer fires their weapon, and typically that investigation is handled by a higher agency if that shooting kills somebody... it's a bare minimum standard that at least assures the public there's some accountability
