My wish is for people to see that Donald 🍊 🤡 Trump is NOT what true Americans have ever stood for and that they will reject him.

P.S. While I often engage with people on this forum, please don’t DM me or you will be blocked.

1/2 Most Americans descended from people who, however they got here, had the courage & toughness to leave their home, survive, thrive, a create a better life.

We often don’t all get along - because we’re fiercely independent and we stand up instead of cowering...

On the 5th Anniversary of the failed January 6th insurrection attempt, we’re reminded how fragile democracy can be. We must remember the darkness of that day so it’s never repeated. As history is rewritten by some, we choose to speak the truth of what happened.

It is a sad fact—but a fact nonetheless—that we have in the White House a fundamentally anti-American administration.

Hegseth is a small man and Mark Kelly outranks him. Not just in the military, but as a person. That’s what this is about.

The American people electing Trump after he staged a coup attempt 5 years ago was a nail in the coffin of our democracy. You can rationalize it all you want - But inflation! But wokeness! - but ultimately it was a societal suicide attempt and probably the dumbest collective voting decision ever made

J6 prosecutor: “It’s more maddening than it is anything else. I spent years of my life watching the events of that day unfold in front of me again and again and again. I spoke with dozens and dozens of people who were there that day and who are still dealing with the trauma.”
Five years after Jan. 6, Trump is rewriting the narrative around the Capitol siege
More actions are expected, including possible payments to compensate Jan. 6 defendants, as the White House launches a webpage dedicated to Trump's claims.

Thanks @emmagreenman.bsky.social for this op-ed. We can’t forget how horrific Jan 6th was and how our representative democracy depends on us standing together.

Opinion | Five years after Jan. 6, we the people decide our future
In the immediate aftermath, Americans came together to defend democracy. But today, I'm not sure even a handful of my Republican colleagues would condemn the violence that occurred at the Capitol Jan....

Think about how insane this 24 hours was:

- Miller talks about seizing Greenland

- White House says “force is always an option” (against a NATO ally)

- Administration sends Rubio to walk statements back through Congressional leaks that we want to *buy* Greenland, not invade.

Chuck Schumer needs to go.

His time is up.
His voice is weak.
His power is gone.
His role is insignificant.

Democrats need
A voice of truth and power
A leader of significance
A hero

This is what state-regime media looks like.

CBS News ran a segment gushing over Rubio — calling this his “moment" and saying: “Florida, once an American punchline, has become a leader on the world stage. Marco Rubio, we salute you! You are the ultimate Florida Man!”

Congress shouldn't be voting to block further military actions against VZ. The Constitution says they can't.

They should be making ridding the entire world of this reckless embarrassment called a President.

Impeach.
Remove.
Arrest.
Convict.
Imprison.

SCOTUS cannot override the Constitution.
