Happy birthday to Marshall Rogers. His brilliant run on Batman, with Steve Englehart and inker Terry Austin, was one of the few titles worth reading in 1970s post-Implosion DC. A mere 6 issues. How we longed for more, but it never came. Rogers died of a massive heart attack at age 57. What a talent.
