📣 📣 We are back! 📣 📣

After more than 2 years away from social media, we are excited to reconnect and engage with the community. Life changes, new jobs, and moves around the world have kept us quiet - but behind the scenes, we have been planning and building. Now we are ready to relaunch EDIG!

In our last post, we shared a summary of EDIG’s past conferences. This week, we wanted to share another part of our 2020 conference planning – an online survey asking people in geoscience about their experiences (or lack of) with equity, diversity, & inclusion-related challenges.

As the DEI co-chair, I hope you will apply to join the DEI committee. We are a friendly active bunch working on making Geochemistry more accessible and inclusive. This includes during @goldschmidt-confer.bsky.social, online (www.eagblog.org/categories/d...), and with respect to the awards.

EDIG has grown since its launch in 2020, but a core part of our past has been our events. We were originally intended to be a standalone conference, aiming to provide a platform for open discussion on equity, diversity, and inclusion in geoscience.
