I start student teaching on Monday. What a time to get into education. I look forward to brainwashing as many high schoolers as possible with fact based material before I am caught #catchmeifyoucan

When someone puts their life on the line to defend this country in uniform, we in turn, promise them health care after their service.

Trump froze all hiring at the VA at a time when the VA is experiencing a shortage of doctors & nurses. Unacceptable. Our veterans deserve better.

It’s not to blame consumers but to acknowledge that unless we change our collective consciousness about what we need vs what we want, and what we need to sacrifice to change the material course humanity is on, we will live out history over and over and over until the world burns.

What could the oligarchs do if we stopped buying their trash and started buying from and sharing with our neighbors? It doesn’t have to be perfect. You can still buy what you NEED new or big biz…but clothing, cars, jewelry, furniture, glassware/silverware, sweets and treats …

With that being said- every trans person, everyone who fled the violence of their own countries, every unhoused person, and everyone without the means to afford to take care of their health need us to ban together and protect each other. 3 losers vs we the people. We got this #immanevertrumpguy

Now that a democrat is out of office liberals will blame everything that’s wrong with this country on Trump instead of lookin in the mirror & in the history books. Yes- fascism is here & the Democratic Party welcomed it by lining their pockets instead of representing the people. #inaugurationday

Remember to dream of and work to create what you’re for

“For Americans, the hardest part of what is coming is going to be giving up on the grand American myth of infinite material abundance” could not agree with this more. Your version of the American dream is dead thanks to climate change&deniers. HDH & sustainability is the only future.
The American dream is infinite abundance, and the hardest part of what is coming will be convincing people that that is not possible any more.

Microplastics, VOCs, and other pollutants are wreaking havoc on our bodies but it’s easier to shame a population into a diet change than it is to uproot capitalism and its viscous need to pollute to survive. The key to health could be to consume less, and I’m not talking about food.
