Mark Kelly and the rest of the Dems who spoke about honoring the oath of service spoke about words that are part of the oath.

They didn't break the law or inspire insurrection, they encouraged service members to follow the law. Miller and Hegseth are unhinged wanna bes.

A clinical social worker who did their best to abuse my child and I while we were at a major pediatric hospital is giving classes on how to work with families with trauma, and I just can't.

One of the memorable moments with her was me begging for support and help, and her words to me verbatim were

I've been fighting an infection, so I've missed days.

Native American Heritage Month Day 18.

One of my adoptive moms is Native. My time with her are some of my most cherished memories. There are a million things I could write about her and the time, none of these posts can adequately cover it.

At work, we are seeing a STEEP decline in vaccinations for Latino children.

Many of these children receive those vaccines at school sites and mobile clinics at school.

That likely means that Latino parents just arent sending their kids to school at ALL for fear of ICE.

This International Day of Tolerance, we must all recommit to a world without hate. Every single one of us plays a role in creating a kinder, safer, and more tolerant world. ❤️

Republican Strategy - Treat everyone like they're ignorant and can't remember anything.

Surely it'll keep working the more they do it.

Y'all. Folks who study such things know this is competitive authoritarianism. They know this is fascism. They know we are dancing on the knife edge of civil war.

If it isn't yet impacting you? mazel tov. Maybe pay attention to your broader community.

Don't let the waves of "normal" deceive you.

In NYC Mamdani showed us that having an exciting candidate in one district rallies voters in other districts as well.

Dems making changes will help areas we have a harder time winning. Not seeing that is what's short sighted.

@senadorajulie.bsky.social has my full support if/when she announces!

Native American Heritage Month Day 16

The Pueblos in the Southwestern United States are the oldest buildings in the US. The oldest of which dates back to 750 AD. Taos and Acoma Pueblos were built around 1000 AD, and are both still inhabited today.

Native American Heritage Month Day 13

Today's post is brought to you by my son, who is half Diné (Navajo). He is talking about the Long Walk.

I haven't spoken about this directly, but I feel like I should say something.

I have reasons for not reading the Epstein Files as they're released. There are many people who have been tracking these files for years, and they do a great job.

It is an important issue to me, and I stay up to date.

Recommitting to Native American Heritage Month, Day 12.

Native Americans, the First People, are having to hire and consult with immigration attorneys for travel within the continental United States.

It's insane, and we as a country are not reacting to this moment the way we need to be.

Seeing 7 Dems cave and vote for the CR was hard on a lot of us.

I know that I want things to change for the better, and for more people to participate in Democracy. I will continue to work on encouraging voter participation and supporting individual Democrats. I have become a dues-paying member of

I'm feeling very unreasonable, so the rest of the night will be spent reflecting on how I'm moving forward in regards to my previous work supporting the Democratic Party at large.

This vote was the single most asinine thing I have seen in awhile.

Missed that the CR passed the senate

I will be spending my life advocating for universal healthcare, reparations, and a congressional recall mechanism.

I will also spend the rest of those senators lives promoting their Dem/Left opponents in any office they run for ever again. (Those not retiring)

My dad died in 2009, 3 months before he would have qualified for Medicare, because he didn't have insurance and he was too afraid to go to the doctor because of the costs.

I don't give a shit about getting the GOP on the record, going 1 or 2 months without insurance will kill people.

I've seen a lot of back and forth posts on boycotting the holidays. You don't have to boycott. Just do it differently. We will be doing fewer gifts from local or independent sellers.

Our tree will be up, with the decorations we have had for years.

Just stop giving the conglomerates your $

I have made my calls to @senatorhick.govpeeps.us and @bennet.senate.gov.

I asked for them to continue to vote "No" on the CR, and also to vote to remove @schumer.senate.gov as Minority Leader and @durbin.senate.gov as Minority Whip.
November 10, 2025 at 7:03 PM
The CR hasn't passed yet. If you have a Democratic Senator call or email them and tell them to vote no when it goes to the next 60 vote count. They can still prevent this! They need to know we are on their side on a "no" vote. Especially if you have any of the following senators.

Colorado, if you are upset with Dems and want different candidates representing you - please keep in mind that our candidates get on the ballot through the caucus/assembly process. Very few voters participate and you have to be registered as a Dem.

Please register, and show up for caucus/assembly!
