Republicans have until March 14 to keep the government open.

Dems are willing to work together to protect critical services.

But their partisan bill takes away funding from veterans, health care, and housing.

If they want to pass their backwards bill, it’s on them.

Elon Musk and his 19-year-olds have now disrupted the approval of medical devices that save lives.

Every member of Congress bears a responsibility to stop this right now.

Academics are always seen as a threat in authoritarian regimes. We're among the first to be attacked--along with journalists, librarians. We're independent sources of knowledge, we think critically, we are viewed as powerful because we teach. Know your value, know why you're a threat. Be bold. 🥰

📢 1.90 is rolling out now (3/11)

Every post now has the ability to “detach” quote posts.

Quote posts are great but sometimes they’re used to dunk on people. This tool gives you a quick way to remove your post from the quote, reducing the unwanted attention that a quote might bring.

For the newbies, one of the great features on here is that when someone has tried to quote-post dunk on you, hit the … and select “detach quote” and nobody will see the post or who wrote it and they will look like an asshole. (Blocking works like this too.)

Blocking a user here is far more effective than it ever was on Twitter. It rips out all connection to replies, quotes, everything. They are erased from your life.

It's beautiful and I recommend using it generously.
