This would be such a good idea. It would reduce highway traffic and emissions along a very busy corridor that was once connected by rail. It would also boost tourism, allowing people without vehicles to get out of the city. #manitoba

If you’re in the United States, watch this. If you’re in Canada, definitely watch this. Actually just watch this, wherever you are. And then share it. #Canada

Saw this film on a flight and loved it!
I finally watched "Universal Language" - Rankin's Cannes film reimagining Winnipeg as Iranian-Canadian blend. Most films make us look elsewhere. This makes #Winnipeg defiantly itself. Finds beauty in what we apologize for: winter light, brutalist architecture, cold. Radically, weirdly ours.

We’re in London (UK) and today a woman asked us where we were from. When we told her Canada, the first thing she said was, “Oh, the 51st state.” We told her (nicely) that it was no joke. 🙄

Exciting to see some images of what the new 140-room, upscale, Hyatt Centric boutique hotel will look like in downtown Winnipeg. A conversion of the former Canada Revenue Agency office building. It will have a dramatic atrium cut into the centre of the building.

Has anyone successfully changed their desk posture? I start the day aware and sitting tall, and then the day wears on, and by mid-afternoon, I'm wondering why my neck and upper back are sore. #WorkLife

What's Up With That: Building Bigger Roads Actually Makes Traffic Worse
The concept is called induced demand, which is economist-speak for when increasing the supply of something (like roads) makes people want that thing even more. Though some traffic engineers made note ...

Canada has a fragmented medical records system. Doctors and patients are missing out on critical info for decision making.
