Finally using this account to fully replace the bird app. I’ll miss my education network there but looking to rebuild here! #edusky
Just watched Good Night, and Good Luck. Loved the movie and that a thoughtful, creative adaptation. Still provocative and thought provoking - maybe even more so.
Haven’t watched CNN in months until now.

Today marks 10 years to day I consider myself cancer-free (last treatment). Appreciate the distance but it never leaves you mentally, emotionally, and financially. #cancer #OncSky

This is GENIUS!!

Small acts of disobedience happening!
I made a fake tip line content generator... You know, just for fun. I certainly would never actually use it.

Anyone else giving up their Waze and Google Maps after their announcement re Gulf of America? 🙄
I keep trying to engage in as many acts of non-acceptance/disobedience as possible. While it feels like shouting into the abyss, it's better than nothing.

First time in decades that I purposefully did not watch an #inauguration. Even viewing felt like being complicit in the darkness about to descend.

Love how it looks like the heifer is on top of the houses. 🤣

Such a beautiful morning walk with lots of hills moo-ing friends. Yet just 15 minutes from my city.

Not just kids. Some staff need this lesson. 🤦🏻‍♀️

Size and knowledge of tech staff (2people), network built piecemeal as need arose, many staff with basic tech skills, lack of time for training due to bargaining agreements

Missed the last couple #EduSkyChat so happy to join!

A1: since at district level in a very small district, our system security protocols & education are lacking

Mine is Know My Name by Chanel Miller. She was known as Jane Doe in the Brock Turner trial. So venerable, yet powerful.

@wck.org - Thank you to your chefs for supporting California!
One of the best organizations in the world. Happily donated again today.
WCK Chef Corps members Greg Dulan & Kim Prince, with deep community ties in Los Angeles, have deployed their Dulansville food truck to Altadena for wildfire response. Families & first responders can pick up comforting meals, while volunteers help distribute food across the area. #ChefsForCalifornia

Watching #LAfires news recalls one of my best reads of least year: The Great Displacement by Jake Bittle.

Could also see excerpts used in secondary classes effectively #EduSky

'The Great Displacement' looks at communities forever altered by climate change
Jack Bittle's book takes a look at several communities that have been affected by climate change, and how the lives of their residents — those who have survived — have been altered by extreme weather.

Same. Spent 7 years there. Some of the most beautiful skyscapes and so many stars, but that wasn’t enough to compensate all that is wrong and the hate.

Small CA K-8 district. We have typically enrolled a few in January. None yet. Though this year we had more in Aug-Sept than past years.

Glad I made it to an assembly of high school artists (dance, drama, choir, band) for our middle school. Music was an important part of my life in middle and high school. Wish more students would take advantage of it.
