Found the tweet that Joyce Carol Oates bodied Elon Musk with and it's so beautiful in its eloquent, simple take down. So much so he's crashing out trying to prove he reads books now. Put this in the Louvre.

If I were in charge of Downtown LA I would make every single street a single lane if it's one way and one lane each way if it's two way. The rest would be tree protected bike lanes and whatever's left for pop out parks and a little parking.

Elon Musk calling someone else a swindler is the funniest thing I've seen in months. He is the swindler from The Simpsons monorail episode brought to life. Ask AI the definition of swindler and it will give you a photo of Elon.

Grateful to the people that are so scared of Downtown LA that they allow me to hop on the subway for one stop and have no line for Michelin Star tacos.

The fight is just beginning in NYC. The ruling class is going to do EVERYTHING imaginable to make sure free buses and rent freezes fail. They have overthrown with violence every hint of socialism in the world for the last 80 years, they don't give a fuck if it's US citizens now.

It does crack me up that they rebranded "part-time" jobs to "fractional" because part-time is looked down upon.

When I was in elementary school I did a summer school class programming BASIC. I took a computer class in high school in the mid 90s, along with drafting and graphic design classes that didn't have a single computer in the room. Not once did I have access to the Internet until college. I wish I had.

A decade, over 20% of my life, having to watch the dumbest people on earth destroy the country with no end in sight.

America, and California specifically, should let every single person on earth in. If all of the California coast from SD to SF has the same density as Manhattan we could house everyone on earth that wanted to live here.

Cars are "freedom" in the same way that cigarettes are "freedom torches" for woman's suffrage. Americans were/are brainwashed by Edward Bernays using his uncle Freud's theories.
By car, we have given up all facets of freedom.

- We frame dependence on cars as *freedom*
- We spend a lot of money monthly on this very individual form of mobility – without questioning it.
- Since ‘everyone’ now drives a car, all the former advantages of driving have been lost for years.

Agree?

77 million people in the US saw a black family in the White House and decided it needed to be torn down. 😄 Nothing has changed from the time we were cementing up public pools.
