So this item was just approved retroactively. Basically an agreement to detain immigrants in Miami-Dade jails for ICE, with insufficient funds to cover the cost and allowing ICE to block the county from releasing public records from those detained in its jails.

Btw, this migrant prison in the edge of a national park will cost Florida taxpayers around $450 million per year to run.
They want to build a giant immigration detention facility named “Alligator Alcatraz” at the edge of a beloved national park. The site was intended to be an airport but construction was halted after public outcry due to the environmental impact. Just cartoonishly evil stuff.

Indiana's governor fired all the elected members of Indiana University's Board of Trustees. Given a recent policy change, he'll be able to fill those seats with appointees. Which means he'll basically have unilateral control over IU decisions, including who gets hired, tenured, and fired.
