Happy 50th birthday to Black Echoes which was first published #OTD in 1976.

It was a weekly music paper in the UK focussed on black music. It still continues to this day as a monthly magazine.

Just watched a #BBC 4 #documentary about Lee Miller.

A Vogue fashion model who left NY for Paris, fell in with Man Ray, became a photo artist herself, joined the US Army as a war photographer, expanded the role to photo-journalist and was one of the first to capture the appalling scenes at Dachau.
