Noticed a trend and I’m guessing it’s a trained thing. Large companies when dealing with complaints will make people on the phone be really passive aggressive about “oh it’s not ME or MY FAULT [horrific failure from company]”
And it’s like …duh I’m talking to an organisation not Bob on the helpline

One of the biggest lies teams and projects tell themselves is that if a thing they’re building saves time, that time saved will be used to focus on providing more quality

Years ago I worked on a project. A minister created a directive for nhs digital to build a specific service.
Discovery said no need. We got told to push ahead. Alpha showed even less of a need and how expensive it would be to do.

Not a fully formed thought. But there’s something about consulting/consultancy teams aping and replicating the culture of the companies they’re meant to be helping change

Devastated by the sudden loss and passing of our dear friend Vicky. She was a kind, thoughtful and all round amazing person. So much integrity and sincerity
