When it comes to history there's a very common trend on the internet of overcorrecting things. Usually this starts by some random person on a forum or youtube video 'correcting' what they say is a misconception and people latch onto it, even if their claim is unsubstantiated in proper sources.

So let me get this straight. Ghost of Yotei, set in the historical region of Ezo which at that time was not part of the Japanese kingdom and should be full of Ainu people is not, in fact, full of Ainu people and they're basically doing Japanese imperial whitewashing.

3d model of a turco-persian helmet from the late 15th century. The calligraphy matches the original thanks to the extensive pictures present on the MET website, though I still am not entirely sure what it says lol. I also made a plain version next to it for some variety

More drawing, this time of how I envision the oblivion styled orc armour would've developed by the time of skyrim. I was going to decorate the plates but it felt too out of my league, maybe at some point.

I've been wanting to redesign skyrim armour for a while, and decided that it was as good of a reason as any to get into drawing so here's my first drawing I've done since I was a kid. I based it on morrowind armour mixed with golden horde stuff because I felt it fit with the mask.

So one thing I did not consider as a result of losing my 3d avatar files - I can't record videos now either until I fix up a new one. So I should probably get on that soon or it'll be a year between videos again
