Carbon-based.
To my nearly adult children:

Anything that is yours, that you won't be taking when you move out... GET RID OF IT NOW.

No one else wants it.

Who's ready for another lock down?

Right after Halloween.
No virus this time.
3 weeks feels about right.

Maybe the rapture actually happened, but only a few super boring people made the cut and we don't miss them.

I just realized I remember when my parents were my age.

I'll be reflecting in a rocking chair for the rest of the day.

For Autumn flavor, pumpkin is ok... But remember apple?

Apple is better than pumpkin.

Would the younger version of yourself be impressed with how things are going?

I had leftover spaghetti for breakfast. 8-year-old me would be in awe.

Ever see a tree moving in the wind and realize all the other trees are perfectly still?

I DO want help.

But not YOUR help.
Your help isn't helpful.

Time zone facts I wish I didn't need to know.

There is no good time for a call including Japan, Germany, and California.

India is offset by 30 minutes from the rest of the world.

China, Singapore, and Taiwan each have their own time zone, but they are all the same time.

I work for an American manufacturing company with international customers.

We are expanding manufacturing operations to branches in other countries to avoid tariffs.

Tariffs on imported components will force us to raise prices for U.S. customers.

This has no benefit for the United States.

The Words Federal Agencies Are Discouraged From Using Under Trump
Federal agencies have issued guidance to employees on hundreds of terms to limit or avoid using. An analysis of government websites shows many of the same words being removed.
