Mike Johnson is loud and clear: Republicans won’t lower health care costs. They are not on your side.
In the most predictable development ever, Mike Johnson is not committing to hold a House vote on ACA subsidies

The one constant that held during this shutdown is that Republicans want to raise your health care costs.

Hold on!!!

The Trump regime is literally appealing a court order to pay SNAP food assistance. 😯

They are letting families go hungry even though they have the money available. Abhorant.

What a night for Democrats last night.

Republicans haven’t done anything to make life more affordable. And voters have had it with their corruption.

Democrats have an opportunity to win back voters trust by focusing on their plan to take on cost and corruption.

Big corporations are buying access to the Trump regime.

They get hundreds of millions of your tax dollars.

What do you get?

Higher prices at the grocery store. Bigger energy bills. More expensive housing costs.

Donald Trump has done nothing to bring prices down. He’s made inflation worse. And Republicans have shut down the government and cut Medicaid.

Voters have had it.

Voters aren’t happy with Donald Trump. And they don’t trust Republicans.

Democrats must show they have a real, positive, forward looking plan to improve the lives of voters.

Voters broadly disapprove of Trump but remain divided on midterms, poll finds
Most Americans disapprove the president’s handling of top issues, and a majority say he has gone too far in exercising his powers.

Trump deciding not to pay SNAP food assistance when the money is there and kids are going hungry is horrendous.
The way he rubs his inhumanity in Americans” face never ceases to stun me.

He’s illegally refusing to pay food stamp benefits…

…while he throws a ridiculously over the top Gatsby party for his right wing millionaire and corporate friends.

Americans know Trump and Republicans shut down the government to stop Democrats from lowering health care costs.
October 31, 2025 at 2:10 PM
Let’s be very clear, Donald Trump chose to withhold SNAP food assistance from families.
From MSNBC: Half of the states in this country plus DC sued the Regime over the suspension of SNAP Benefits for 40 million people which includes 17 million children, elderly & disabled people, also military personnel & veterans for the month of Nov. A federal judge is supposed to make a ruling soon.

Let Republicans know it’s time to open the government.
I have a flight this weekend and I’m more than a little concerned…

The shutdown affects us all:

• Air travel: TSA and FAA slowdowns = delays, canceled flights, less safe

• SNAP + WIC: Millions lose food assistance

• Farmers: No crop payments, disaster aid, market reports

Wait.

The government shut down stops SNAP payments that provide food to families, but members of Congress still get paid?!

That’s atrocious and corrupt.

Instead of keeping Americans safe, the Trump regime is weaponizing the Department of Justice to target peacful protestors who are exposing their corruption.

Donald Trump continue to increase the debt. The burden is on taxpayers.

Meanwhile, he’s pulling in millions - profiting off the office of the presidency though some of the worse corruption in the history of the nation.
US national debt surpasses a record $38 trillion

This is roughly $111,000 of debt for every person in the US, and is equivalent to the value of the economies of 🇨🇳 🇮🇳 🇯🇵 🇩🇪 & 🇬🇧 combined.

We don’t know how weak and puny Steven Miller actually is -

but we do know that just about everything he’s doing in the Trump regime makes life more expensive, more difficult, and less safe for regular Americans.
It’s been over 2 weeks since AOC said Stephen Miller was weak and puny. Fox is still talking about it.
